Heritage Brimworks Hat Co. is a one-man operation started by Greylen Simmons, who's been shaping hats for about three years now — and it started with nothing more than a pot of boiling water and a tin foil funnel.
Greylen spent years riding rodeos all around different states, and he kept seeing the same thing happen to good hats: crushed, stepped on, bent out of shape — everything you don't want. So one day he took one of his own beat-up hats, a pot of boiling water, and made it look brand new. Since then he's crossed paths with people at rodeos and events who've taught him even more about shaping. After watching so many hats get torn up out there, Greylen set out to build hats that can actually perform in the conditions they're worn in.
Every hat is handled personally — no assembly line, no middleman. Just a straightforward conversation by call or text, and a hat that's shaped, cleaned, or restored to look and fit exactly the way it should.
